Monday 12.03.12

This morning I had a meltdown, lucky for me my lovely friends & my dawg Horne encouraged me to cheer up. I've been painting lots in the weekend, and got a total of 8 hours sleep the last 2 days. I will slash the canvas of Marilyn, i've done a whole new series instead. Me and Marilyn, we don't get along any more. Haters gon' hate. I'm happy with my new paintings i'm just unsure of the speech. I don't know how to write it. Today i'm starting and finishing the 3rd installment of my fresh new series, and it should be quite easy. Touch wood, don't jinx it. Then I can get onto the writing parts of the course; the speech, some questions for my artist, and the artist studies & analysis' that I need to catch up on. If it's not okay, it's not the end. WEDNESDAY

Me and Marilyn are trying to get along, she's co-operating a little better than yesterday so my mood is improving. We need rags to dry our brushes on, I keep having to trek to the next room. I feel a bit like subway. I'll end up with a pie in my hand sometime today. I'm freaking out a bit that it's already wednesday, these paintings need to be done! Unfortunately I have a slooow painting style so that means more stress about time management. I can do it. I'll get it done.

end of day review

i got a mean deal on canvases, and started painting. Its difficult to get back into the groove of my painting style. I lost my blending mojo and its extremely frustrating when my mind and body dont communicate the same ideas. I left marilyn to chill out, shes probably sick of me being all up in her grill. Tomorrow will hopefully be a better day for blending.

WEEK FIVE: 5 - 9 March 2012

Aims:
1. Complete interviews
2. Launch website and social media presence
3. Begin writing
4. Identify which standards you’re each working on
5. Complete series of art works
6. Ready to approach potential advertisers

Outcomes:
1. All interviews finished (is this realistic? At least all interviews need to be scheduled,
and questions finished) > All
2. Initial website content written and uploaded > Lia, Sarathonux, Deaan, Sarah, with
logo from Ryan
Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest accounts set up > Jessie-Lee, with logo from Ryan
3. (Real) reading responses completed. Article skeletons written > All
4. Meetings with SC to identify which standards you are currently working to be assessed

5. Completed art works > All
6. Meeting with Tania Leighton completed and rate card developed > All/Carissa


This is what needs to be accomplished this week, my personal aims are;

1. Keep in contact with one of my artists, and explain the interview needs to be over skype, and contact my other artist to set up an interview.

2. Set up the Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest accounts.

3. Complete series of artworks

Today I feel more motivated to have a good week and get as much done as possible. I still need to organise my artist studies and do the analysis' for my artist's work.

Today i will aim to do many things but will probably only read my book. I don't like this week so i don't feel like doing much else. I should type up my questions at least.
